Retagging the big ones already mentioned please spread this around on your platforms, guys, as I’m a pretty baby creator without quite the same like they deleted their blog but I’m reblogging this for those that might want to try. It may not happen overnight, but if we call out enough of these types of behaviors where we can, we might at least put a stop to people who are making money from nothing more than downloading what many of us already offer directly to the community for free. If you are a creator who is on one of these types of CC folder lists where the CC Folders are ONLY ACCESSIBLE as paid content PLEASE! Reach out to Patreon for support! This is especially easy if you already have a Patreon where you share content (free or otherwise.) You should be able to submit something to the effect of the below and spell out that this user is putting your content behind a Patreon paywall in violation of both your personal terms of use and those of EA. But literally, WHO is paying for this?Įspecially after seeing everyone panic, because of the CF incident not long ago, that was completely unnecessary, you’re telling me people pay to download a bunch of random files?
